We kept Easter pretty low key this year. My kids don't really need more candy, but they do enjoy the hunt for eggs. So, we assembled a few with jelly beans and some chocolate then they went on a "hunt".
We let Joanna go first to find the obvious ones, next it was Isaac's turn, and then we had the girls look together for the rest. We hid 28 eggs, so they each got to find seven. You know kids get excited with just the simplest of things. :)
We also gave them each a new pair of fun socks. The older girls each got Care Bears, Joanna got Dora ones, and Isaac got Spider-man. (Thanks to Dollar Tree. Gotta love them!)
We did have to tell them after 2 days, that the socks really need to be washed between wearings! :)
Easter afternoon we went out to Daniel's sister's place to spend time with most of Daniel's family. (His mom wasn't feeling well, so she stayed home.) We did bring our camera, but forgot to take any pictures, but you can visit The Holmes Blog for some pictures of the fun.
Now, speaking of pizza, (family joke) the kids have been really into making forts these days. Here are some pictures of a recent creation.
Joanna has been providing some entertainment for us lately and here is some proof to show you what she has been up to....
My cousin Kelli visited us recently and Joanna really liked her boots! (and cheesy grins!)
When I checked to make sure Joanna had gone to sleep for her nap, I found her like this. Looks comfy, huh?
Joanna is in her daily uniform, or so she thinks, and some lovely dress-up shoes.
She was being so cute pulling her toys through the house and talking to them. So, I went to grab the camera and, of course, she sees me and starts to pose. I think she might just be Hannah's sister! ;)

Hey! Looks like a fun Easter! Your hard-wood floors look nice! I remember Sarah and I always making forts when we were younger! Such fun! How's your cousin Kelli? Never heard of her. Love ya, Gen
