Our family loves going to the zoo! We have a family membership to the
Sedgwick County Zoo in Wichita. It is a really nice one! I have found that going to the zoo is a great way to get out and enjoy some fresh air and have lots of new things to see and explore. The kids never tire of going there. It is big enough that we can go and visit only part of the zoo then come back a week later and see new things! Plus it's really pretty inexpensive entertainment if you go often enough. Here are some pics from when we went a couple weeks ago.

The new Penguin Exhibit they just opened this May.
They had a "small" boa out for people to look at up close and pet. Isaac especially enjoyed touching it and wasn't ready to move on when everyone else was. :)

I'm with you--I love the zoo. Someday we'll be out that way and we'll go to the zoo with you, okay? We've been rained on like crazy here! Hope you guys are ok. Love you still, Gen
