Grace

Phil Wickham is one of my favorite artists, and I especially love this song. Enjoy!

Grace.... what a truly amazing thing.

Easter Time

We kept Easter pretty low key this year. My kids don't really need more candy, but they do enjoy the hunt for eggs. So, we assembled a few with jelly beans and some chocolate then they went on a "hunt".

We let Joanna go first to find the obvious ones, next it was Isaac's turn, and then we had the girls look together for the rest. We hid 28 eggs, so they each got to find seven. You know kids get excited with just the simplest of things. :)

We also gave them each a new pair of fun socks. The older girls each got Care Bears, Joanna got Dora ones, and Isaac got Spider-man. (Thanks to Dollar Tree. Gotta love them!)

We did have to tell them after 2 days, that the socks really need to be washed between wearings! :)

Easter afternoon we went out to Daniel's sister's place to spend time with most of Daniel's family. (His mom wasn't feeling well, so she stayed home.) We did bring our camera, but forgot to take any pictures, but you can visit
The Holmes Blog for some pictures of the fun.

Now, speaking of pizza, (family joke) the kids have been really into making forts these days. Here are some pictures of a recent creation.

Joanna has been providing some entertainment for us lately and here is some proof to show you what she has been up to....

My cousin Kelli visited us recently and Joanna really liked her boots! (and cheesy grins!)

When I checked to make sure Joanna had gone to sleep for her nap, I found her like this. Looks comfy, huh?

Joanna is in her daily uniform, or so she thinks, and some lovely dress-up shoes.

She was being so cute pulling her toys through the house and talking to them. So, I went to grab the camera and, of course, she sees me and starts to pose. I think she might just be Hannah's sister! ;)

Finally....

When Joanna was sick awhile back she was so tired that she fell asleep on my bed while I was putting clothes away. Sleeping babies are so cute!

Aaaaawwwwww :)

Isaac has been enjoying being able to do some big jobs like his sisters.

Vacuuming time

The kids set up my pilates mat, got some plastic cups, a ball, and decided to "bowl" in the living room. Fun times!

Joanna's turn (notice her favorite thing to wear these days!)

Isaac's turn (still in his PJs)

Abby's turn (she's wearing a dress-up dress)

Hannah's turn (The girly-girl, she loves to wear skirts and dresses whenever possible.)

Here Joanna was pouting about something after I took her out of the bath tub. She is a pro at "The Pout." :)

Happy Abby!

Playdoh Fun and misc.

The kids really enjoy playing with Playdoh. They especially like to pretend to "cook" with it.

Here's a panful of playdoh creations.

All 3 having fun!

They each have their own style of how to play with it, so here's some pics of each of them.

Joanna loves to wear a swimsuit all day long. I heard her playing quietly in the girl's room, and tried to take a surprise picture of her. She saw me and I snapped a series of pictures of her running towards me going, "Moooommmyyyy!"

All the kids just LOVE corn on the cob. I had some frozen corn and cooked it up with supper. I snapped some pics of them enjoying it! (As you can see a few of them just got out of a bath. :)

Then Joanna decided to make a face at me taking pictures. She makes us laugh all the time!

Random January Photos

Isaac took his stuffed animals and plastic animals and "matched" them together in a laundry basket.

Some of the many "Faces of Joanna"

Aren't I cute?

Whenever the camera is out, it's pretty much guaranteed that Hannah will be a ham. :)

Isaac loves to be a "fixer man." Here he is in his jammies, with his work gloves and tools.

Isaac wearing Daddy's work gloves.

Isaac with his "tools."

A close up of his tools. He doesn't have a tool belt, so he just put them in his waistband. Whatever works! :)

Hannah and Abigail are getting to be big enough girls that they can help mommy out with some of her jobs. Here's some pictures of Hannah vacuuming.

Isaac also likes to vacuum, mostly using the hose to suck up crumbs on the carpet.

Oh yeah, speaking of hams....

Sometimes the kids get to watch a dvd in Mom and Dad's room. Here they all are lined up on our bed.
